The Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) had finally released last month the National Anti-Racism Partnership and Strategy Discussion Paper along with a website and online survey to kick start the national discussion about addressing racism through consultation with the community, following the February 2011 Australian Government’s announcement of Australia’s new Australia immigration multicultural policy, The People of Australia, a policy that reaffirms the importance of a culturally diverse and socially cohesive nation.
