RPM Sensor
The EDM 350 Aircraft engine data manager by J.P. Instruments measures precisely 3.25 square inches i.e. smaller than a standard sized stapler and yet, it this little gadget is packed with electronic chips that analyse over 2 dozen different engine parameters of any 4-cylinder aircraft. The basic 4-cylinder kit starts at just $798 while the 6-cylinder kit is priced at $988. Both representing true value for money.

Some of the Aircraft Engine Monitor and engine gauges include RPM Sensor counter, engine pressure and temperature gauges, fuel level and Fuel Gauges (one set per engine), exhaust gas temperature and so forth. Every little thing has to be monitored which is why until recently, an aircraft cockpit used to look frightening with dozens of dials and knobs crammed into every nook and corner of the cockpit. But thanks to aircraft engine monitor manufacturing companies such as J.P. Instruments, a modern upgraded aircraft looks more like a gamming room with just a few futuristic looking LCD/LED screen

The aircraft cockpit got so crowded with gauges that it was impossible to keep track of all the information that was being displayed. The pilot would look at the gauges that were critical to the flight and just eye-ball the rest and hope for the best. These gauges did not have any alarm system so, more often than not the flight crew usually found out about a problem the hard way - when the engines began to ‘cough’ and sputter.

JPI CDT probes are superior because of their response speed. Ungrounded (insulated) probes sold by rival manufacturers are too slow to respond to all temperature changes. It is also worth noting that insulated probes, starting at the same point as grounded probes, never achieved true temperatures. The ungrounded, insulated probes are generally 3/16" in diameter whereas, JPI's grounded probes are only 1/16" in diameter.

The EDM-930 is certified as a primary flight instrument. With the 930 on board, you can remove many of your old engine gauges, and open up valuable space in your panel. Fly with confidence as your EDM930 acts as your full time on-board flight engineer.

Fuel Flow Indicators
Engine data management 700 which can simply be referred to as EDM 700 is a necessary addition to any aircraft. It works by continually monitoring the engine activities of the aircraft thus, leaving the pilot to fully concentrate on flying and landing the aircraft safely. With the help of the latest microprocessor technology, a total of 24 critical parameters are monitored 4 times a second which is more than can be done by the pilot.

Electrical Airplane Fuel Gauge is also known as capacitance meter and uses a capacitor, an electrical amplifier and a fuel gauge to give a reading of Aircraft Fuel Flow Indicator in the tanks. The capacitor stores an electric charge, the size of the dielectric which is either the fuel in the tank when full or the air in the tank when it’s empty. The fuel gauge in the cockpit of the aircraft reads the capacitance charge and displays the information.
