Piles (or piles) are swollen blood vessels found in the anus. It can be divided into internal or external, depending on where it begins.

External hemorrhoids develop outside the anus. This usually happens when a blood clot forms inside, resulting in painful swelling. External batteries feel like a hard, soft lump. Bleeding occurs only when the skin over it breaks. On the other hand, internal hemorrhoids start from the top of the anal canal.

Hemorrhoids (HEM-e-roids), also called piles, are swollen veins in the anus and lower rectum, similar to varicose veins. Hemorrhoids can develop inside the rectum (internal hemorrhoids) or under the skin around the anus (external hemorrhoids).

Many people in Singapore suffer from piles or piles. Hemorrhoids are commonly known as piles. Every third person in Singapore has piles. Hemorrhoids are abnormally blocked and swollen blood vessels in the anus and lower rectum that cause discomfort, itching or pain. They can swell with blood clots (thrombosed hemorrhoids), causing severe pain and requiring treatment of the hemorrhoids. A more dangerous complication of hemorrhoids is bleeding when blood vessels burst or become displaced.
