Indian Handicraft exports grew by 11 per cent in April 2012
The exports of Indian Handicraft increased by 11 per cent, from US$ 204 million in April 2011 to US$ 227 million in April 2012, according to data provided by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH). The growth in exports is mainly on account of rising demand from new markets like China, Latin America and West Asia.
