Dr. Jayant Jagannathan is one of the UPG Department of Neurological Surgery’s assistant professors. He works in the fields of neuro-oncology, radio surgery, and complex spine surgery. Dr. Jayant Jagannathan will be working with the Minimally Invasive Spine Program, as the director of that initiative. This program is hosted by St. Mary’s Hospital. A particular interest has been shown by Dr. Jayant Jagannathan into studying and working with sports-related brain and spine injuries. Indeed, Dr. Jagannathan has already made plans to work in this field, including plans which involve amateur, semi-professional, and local-professional athletes.
