You can link your mobile device to your Smart TV or streaming device using a code. After linking your device, you can watch YouTube on your TV when you’re not connected to Wi-Fi.



- Enter the code
- On your phone or tablet, open the YouTube app.
- Tap your profile picture and select Settings.
- Tap Watch on TV.
- Tap Enter TV Code and enter the blue TV code shown on your TV.
- Remove devices linked with a code

You can remove any linked devices by following the steps below. Remember, once a device is removed, you’ll need to use a new code if you ever want to link the device again.



1. Unlink using your Smart TV or streaming device
2. On your Smart TV or streaming device, open the YouTube app.
3. Go to Settings .
4. Select Linked devices.
5. Select Unlink all devices to unlink all devices at once.
6. Unlink using your phone or tablet
7. On your phone or tablet, open the YouTube app.
8. Select your profile picture .
9. Tap Settings.
10. Select Watch on TV.
11. Select Delete Devices.
12. Tap DELETE to remove the linked Smart TV or streaming device.
