The new Audi RS6 Avant has been officially unveiled and will reach customers in the first part of next year. The new model features a 48 V mild hybrid system and a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 600 hp and 800 Nm.
The new Audi RS6 Avant reaches from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.6 seconds and has a maximum electronically limited speed of 250 km / h. Optionally, two performance packages can be ordered by means of which the machine with a weight of 2.1 tonnes can reach maximum speeds of 280 km / h or even 305 km / h. The resources are managed by an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The 48V mild-hybrid system has the role of helping to reduce fuel consumption: when the driver accelerates from 55 km / h to 160 km / h the new Audi RS 6 Avant can run for 40 seconds without the help of the internal combustion engine.
The estimated price for the new Audi RS6 Avant is 125,000 euros for the basic version.
