Boost to healthcare
Casualty wards in all 30 district headquarters hospitals in the state will soon be strengthened to cater to emergency patients, health minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak told the assembly here on Friday.

Replying to questions in the house on improvement of health care facilities, Nayak said the state government has decided to augment facilities at casualty wards in district headquarters hospitals, Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar and IG hospital in Rourkela with an estimated budget of Rs 62 crore.
